Dope Site: Gypsy Warrior

Ever since I started using Instagram I have discovered some wonderful and chic online shops. Mostly since these stores tend to start following you in hopes that you will follow back and buy their merch, but Gypsy Warrior is definitely a worth while site to check out. For weeks I have been lusting over their fabulous selection of sunglasses and uniquely bohemian accessories. Finally I made my first purchase today and I couldn't be happier! They already offer affordable prices but make sure to follow them on Twitter for an extra 10% off with code Twitter at check out! Also check out their Tumblr for a dose of gypsy inspiration. Looking forward for my gypsy warrior gear to arrive to set forth into fashion battle in style!

My Birthday Keep Wishing List

My birthday is coming up next week, seems like only yesterday I was still wearing Abercrombie & Fitch and Birkenstocks. These days my fashion taste have come a long way and have gotten a bit more refined. Still with limited funds and little time to go shopping my wardrobe is longing for some new friends. Here are a few items I am currently lusting over, but unfortunately won't be getting this year for my birthday...
Black Milk Clothing has joined forces with Jeffrey Campbell to release a unique & limited amount of specialty print shoes. Here is their Sick of Men print in JC's Lita and for an affordable, but out of my budget this month of $199.95 you can pre-order these babies at Solestruck

Oh Unif, how I love thee! Here's their Question Everything Jacket, bad ass & with a quote like Eat Shit And Diet I am loving it more! It would set me back $385.00 but so worth it if I wanted to end up spending half my rent money and homeless, at least I'd rocking some kick ass gear.
I can't begin to describe how much I have been drooling over these Prada Baroque Sunglass, too bad at $290 I'll end Ba-roke my self (hardy har har!)
Normally I am a black on black on black kinda gal, but I love the navy on hot pick of this Marc Jacobs Back Pocket Clutch. Plus the design it self is much too fun to resist! At $298.00 its not a bad deal, but sadly money isn't growing on trees yet so you my love will have to wait.

Well there you have it at a total of  $1172.95 I have already exhausted and drained my imaginary birthday funds. Happy Birthday to me, I'll keep wishing!

Crystal Clear: Chanel Fall 2012 RTW

Crystals, jems and jewels were all the rage in Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel Fall 2012 show this week in Paris and after watching the show was left in awe of the grandeur of the set and exquisite attention to detail that came through in every piece. He has taken the classic Chanel look and made it modern, hip and fabulous for the everyday woman. His keen eye for trends shows with his unique choice of using crystals and organic shapes, which for the most part have been seen through out the past few seasons, mostly in accessories, but this is  the first time a whole runway show has been dedicated to showcase it. The show stopper of this collection hands down for me was the shoes, that crystal heel! Check out some of the meticulous detailing below...

“The past isn’t dead. It isn’t even past.”

I am obsessed. Jeremy Scott's Fall 2012 RTW is so 90s raver with a futuristic twist! But its not so much the nostalgia that I love but the overall concept and the truly original pieces Jeremy Scott has introduced us to. I especially love the Bart Simpson sweaters and the emoji-con prints!
"Faulkner famously said, “The past isn’t dead. It isn’t even past.” Today, in his own way, Jeremy Scott said it, too. He was thinking of the persistence of the past in the perma-present culture of the Internet, when anything and everything is just a Google search away. “Things don’t ever go away now,” he said backstage. “Deleting history isn’t really possible.”…there were sweat suits, stretch dresses, and leggings printed with computer screen shots and instant-message emoticons”We use them to communicate our emotions,” Scott explained. “I’m angry, I’m happy, I’m horny, I feel kind of flirty. That’s now a legitimate answer.” via Style

Glam Bam Thank You Mam!

Ziggy Starbust, The Thin White Duke, David Bowie, can enough be said? A timeless musician, fashion icon and my favorite celebrity of all time! I remember when I first heard his music, I felt like I was flying high on a glitter cloud with Ziggy himself into a glamstatic universe full of spiders from Mars, Diamond Dogs and insane Aladdin's. David Bowie really broke the borders of music implementing sexuality into a new fashion wave that continued to inspire generations to come. Like a chameleon he adapted to the times and through out the 70s, 80s and 90s he still continued to captivate audiences.
